FROM VISION TO REALITY

Hi, I'm Danamarie, the owner and creator of InnerGlow Art Studio. I have been creating art my whole life, whether it be in the form of painting, pottery, kiln fired glass, or most recently jewelry.
I am traditionally trained as a Fine Artist and Graphic Designer so art has always fed my soul.
Previously, I spent twenty-seven years in the Advertising industry as a Creative Director and
eleven years as a licensed massage therapist. Fast forward to now, where I continue to
grow as an artist and bring you 3D work using my gifts and talents to create a sense of
connection and inner beauty for others.
I have always felt connected to the universe and people in a creative and purposeful way.
As an empath and highly sensitive, it was no accident when I stumbled upon energy
healing eleven years ago. It affirmed for me a deep intuition and provided a path where I could now combine my love of art and energy healing with the creative process of making wearable and functional art that provides energy and balance. My work is intentional and made from love that flows and solidifies in the glass pieces that I create.
Each piece is handmade with the idea of bringing a sense of inner beauty, and joy to the recipient. The creative process involves many steps listed below. Starting from conception, sketching, creating a color way, cutting glass shapes, assembling pieces, and firing multiple times in a special glass kiln to extremely high temperatures. The work doesn't stop there, it continues to evolve as it becomes the beautiful jewel that it was meant to be. A process that spans a few days and sometimes weeks, but is always magical, because no matter how hard I try to control the outcome of the firing, the kiln and the fire always win. The fire creates an enlightening and wonderful surprise that is personal and a constant reminder of how fragile yet beautiful life is. When faced with good and bad, glass keeps me grounded and mindful while reflecting inward. Through my art, I have learned to lean into all that is provided for me. The successful completion of each kiln firing is a blessing that brings immense gratitude. I truly believe I share this gratitude in my work while illuminating and empowering the receiver.

It's no surprise that the firing process is spiritual to me. It's a gentle reminder to trust my inner light and an active living symbol of the divine fire that burns in all of us. In life, I can't always control the outcome of others choices, but when given an intense energy to work with similar to fire, I discover how to flow with the process and embrace the dance, it presents a rainbow and path of the brightest colors.

I remain passionate about continuously evolving and creating unique,
one-of-a-kind wearable and functional art. When you purchase one of my pieces, know that each piece is original and delicately hand crafted in my home
